LQR and Fuzzy Logic Control for the Three-Area Power System

چکیده

The three-area power system is widely considered a suitable example to test load frequency control of the distributed generation system. In this article, for such system, stabilization task, we introduce two controllers: Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR), which model-based, and Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC), data-based. purpose compare approaches from point view (i) ease implementation tuning, (ii) robustness changes in model. model, together with controls strategies, has been implemented MATLAB software. Then, it tested different simulation scenarios, taking into account disturbances faulty tie-lines between areas. Various quality measures allow performance each strategy. comparison terms parameter change prompt us propose metrics advice notes on application controller.
